Prof. Dr. Hossein AZADI, principal investigator of a project funded under the TÜBÄ°TAK 2232-A International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers, visited the Dean’s Office. Faculty members from the Department of Geomatics Engineering are also participating in the project as researchers.

Prof. Dr. AZADI, a full-time faculty member in the Department of Geography at Ghent University, will conduct academic activities as a professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at our Faculty for one year, beginning in September 2026, pursuant to Article 34 of Turkish Higher Education Law No. 2547.

During the visit, discussions were held on the activities to be carried out within the scope of the project, the details of interinstitutional academic cooperation, and prospective joint initiatives. Opportunities to strengthen international research networks and increase collaborative scientific studies were also explored.
