Surmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department Graduation Enthusiasm

The 35th Term Graduation Ceremony of Sürmene Faculty of Marine Sciences was held at its campus in Çamburnu.

Many industry representatives, especially ART Shipyard, Beşiktaş Shipyard, Sefine Shipyard and TK Tuzla Shipyard, attended the event.

At the ceremony, after a moment of silence and the National Anthem, the Dean of the Sürmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Muzaffer FEYZİOĞLU made the opening speech. In his speech, he stated that "Sürmene Faculty of Marine Sciences has a very important position in terms of the maritime community with its departments, and that our faculty, which is the first of Anatolia and one of the four big maritime faculties of Turkey, has added its 35th graduates to this community this year.

Our Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. In his speech, Cemil RAKICI talked about the positive effects of Karadeniz Technical University's deep-rooted past on students and advised that they should never lose their sense of corporate belonging.

Among the graduates of the 35th Term of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, the students who ranked in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering;

- Second:  Muhammed Bekir ÇELİKTAŞ

- Third: Yunus BINGOL

The winners were presented with awards by industry officials and then plaques were given by the guests.

Ceremony; The ceremony of throwing the cap and then wearing the helmet continued with a group photo shoot and ended with a cocktail.
