The selection process for the Erasmus+ KA171 Incoming Student Mobility – Second Round for the 2026–2027 Academic Year has been completed.

The selection procedure was conducted in accordance with the Call for Applications for Erasmus+ KA171 Incoming Student Mobility – Second Round, announced by the Karadeniz Technical University Office of Exchange Programmes on 11 August 2026. Applications submitted by the partner higher education institutions were initially evaluated by their respective institutions, and the preliminary evaluation results were subsequently submitted to Karadeniz Technical University. The final evaluation was carried out by the officially appointed KTU Selection Committee in accordance with the principles of transparency, impartiality, and equal opportunity, and in full compliance with the Erasmus+ Handbook of the Turkish National Agency.

Following the preliminary evaluation, the applications were reviewed and assessed by the officially appointed Erasmus+ Selection Committee of Karadeniz Technical University. The final selection process was carried out in accordance with the principles of transparency, impartiality, equal treatment, and documentation-based evaluation, taking into consideration the available institutional quotas and the budget allocated under the Erasmus+ KA171 project.

Applicants were evaluated according to the selection criteria specified in the call for applications. Applicants with disabilities and/or fewer opportunities, as defined in the Erasmus+ Handbook and supported by the required official documentation, were awarded the additional points specified in the call.

The final ranking of applicants was determined based on the weighted evaluation scores, the eligible fields of study, the available student quotas for the respective partner institutions and countries, and the financial capacity of the project. Accordingly, candidates were determined.

Selected students are required to complete their mobility activity without interruption.

Beneficiaries will be provided with additional travel support for their trip.

IMPORTANT TONES

Each selected student is a candidate student. Their definitive participation in the programme is contingent upon completing the application process and fulfilling the 30 ECTS course requirement.

Selected students are obliged to carry out their mobility activities without interruption in accordance with the Erasmus+ KA171 regulations.

The selection procedure and evaluation criteria were implemented in accordance with the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Turkish National Agency, the relevant directives of Karadeniz Technical University, and the provisions stated in the Call for Applications dated 11 August 2026.

The final selection results have been approved by the relevant authorities of Karadeniz Technical University and are hereby announced. Selected students will be contacted by e-mail and provided with further information regarding their acceptance, mobility procedures, required documents, and grant arrangements.

Selected candidates will receive an official email regarding their application, along with more detailed instructions on mobility procedures.
