From the Director of the Institute;

KTU, The Institute of Social Sciences contributes to the training of qualified researchers, experts and courses needed by Turkey and other countries by increasing the quality of postgraduate education in all branches of science and art affiliated to it, in line with the general mission undertaken by Karadeniz Technical University, in the light of universal science.

Our institute provides the academic formation with qualified academic staff for our students which they will need on the universal ground of knowledge, in national and international fields. On the other hand, it has been carrying out its activities for 39 years with the philosophy of giving its researchers the spirit and quality that a scientist should have.

KTU, The Institute of Social Sciences, as of today with 10 PhD and 22 master program continues its education service with a total of 32 graduate programs in its cooperations.

Our goal in the new period is to increase the quality of existing graduate programs in line with the lifelong learning approach we have adopted. To open new programs that will be needed on an individual, social and global scale in the light of developments in science and technology, thus providing graduate education opportunities to more individuals.

As the Institute, we will endeavor to be a respected institution that acts with a more transparent, participatory and student-centered learning approach and stands out with these aspects in order to raise the flag we have higher in line with both the responsibilities imposed by the laws and social expectations.
