Internship Application Process and Documents
Within the scope of our Software Engineering Program, an internship process is envisaged in order to enhance our students. professional competencies and enable them to become familiar with real working environments. Our students are required to complete a total of 60 working days of internship.
Internship applications are carried out through the BYS Internship Management Module. During the application process, all required forms must be completed accurately and in full, and approvals must be obtained at least 20 working days before the internship start date.
Throughout the internship period, students enter information such as the company supervisor, project topic, and working hours into the system and initiate their internship following company approval. Post-internship evaluation is conducted based on the internship notebook, daily work logs, and the company evaluation report. For an internship to be considered successful, students must complete the required number of working days and fulfil all internship-related requirements.
Requests related to internship changes, special circumstances encountered during the internship, or missing days can be submitted through the "Requests" section of the system. In addition, all documents, regulations, and informational videos related to the internship process are available on our program page.
Students need to plan their internship process carefully, taking into account working days, public holidays, and insurance procedures. For any questions or support needs, our Internship Commission and Department Secretariat will be pleased to assist you.
