Visit to Karadeniz Technical University from Hiroshima University, One of Japan's Leading Educational Institutions

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mayumi KAKO, an academic staff member at Hiroshima University’s Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences, visited the Rector of Karadeniz Technical University Prof. Dr. Hamdullah CUVALCI.
Head of Disaster Medicine Department Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir GUNDUZ, Director of the Graduate School of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Sedat BOSTAN and General Coordinator of International Relations Prof. Dr. Sercan EROL along with other academic staff members attended the meeting. Negotiations were held on bilateral cooperation in Disaster Medicine, Engineering, Social Sciences, Medicine and Environmental Sciences.
Emphasizing the importance of international cooperations, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah CUVALCI stated that Karadeniz Technical University continues to strengthen its scientific and academic partnerships in line with its internationalization vision. CUVALCI highlighted that sharing knowledge and experience contributes to global academic progress.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mayumi KAKO expressed her gratitude to the Rector and his team for their warm reception. KAKO stated that Hiroshima University aims to expand academic partnerships with Karadeniz Technical University in the future.
As a part of her programme, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mayumi KAKO also visited the Office of Exchange Programmes and received information about the exchange programmes carried out at Karadeniz Technical University. KAKO was hosted at the meeting by General Coordinator of International Relations Prof. Dr. Sercan EROL, Deputy Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Islam COPUROGLU, Office of Internationalization Coordinator Dr. Lecturer Ulas Kutsi CEZİK and Deputy Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Yucel BULUT.
