Building Information Modelling (BIM) can be defined as the modelling of the structure in a digital format by using smart objects to strengthen knowledge transfer and interoperability in design, construction and operation processes. BIM project stakeholders are provided with a platform where they can work together from the very beginning of the project, that is, from the design phase. Thus, the coordination between the project stakeholders is increased and realistic smart models are obtained with 3D building elements. This training aims to raise awareness among the stakeholders who will meet the qualified workforce that will be needed in the relevant field.
Duration for each training is defined in the training content. If necessary, the training hours can be changed. Changes will be notified to participants in advance. If a sufficient number of applications is not reached, the coordinators may decide not to open the training. If the program is not opened, participation fees will be refunded.

The "Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Applied Infrastructure Projects" training program consists of 4 parts. The purpose and detailed contents for each section are given below.
Part 1 - Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Fundamentals (4 Hours)
Objectives
In the first part of the training, the problems encountered in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sectors will be mentioned, the concept of Building Information Modelling (BIM) will be explained in detail and the solutions found with BIM to the problems in the sector will be explained. In this context, the benefits and uses of BIM for the industry will be examined together with the sample projects using BIM. In this part, it is aimed to provide detailed information about BIM to participants.
Content
Part 2 - Basic Infrastructure Project Design with Building Information Modelling (BIM) (8 Hours)
Objectives
In this part, practical training will be given for InfraWorks and Civil 3D programs and Building Information Modelling (BIM) in infrastructure projects. An example infrastructure project will be modelled with InfraWorks and Civil 3D programs, and the design stages will be explained. It is aimed to provide practical information about the application of BIM to infrastructure projects and to expand its use.
Content
Part 3 - Structural Modelling with Building Information Modelling (BIM) (8 Hours)
Objectives
In this part of the training, applied Building Information Modelling (BIM) training will be given using Revit and Navisworks programs. BIM-based modelling will be mentioned, the interfaces of the programs will be introduced and sample applications related to structural modelling will be practiced. It is aimed to provide information about the application of BIM to projects by creating animations for the estimation of quantity and cost, the integration of the work program for planning and the display of the project model, together with the 3D models obtained.
Content
Part 4- BIM Based Project Management (4 Hours)
Objectives
In the last part of the training, information about data sharing will be given in the design, construction and operation phases of construction projects with BIM. For this purpose, the use of common data will be mentioned to share information about the project with the relevant stakeholders (customer, main contractor, subcontractor, architect, engineer, etc.). In this way, it is aimed to reduce these problems by mentioning the problems that companies interested in BIM may experience in the process of adapting to BIM.
