KTÜ UZEM and DOKA Provide Teachers with 'İkizce Robotics and Coding' Training
The 'İkizce Robotics and Coding Trainer Training' project, financed by the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA) and managed by the İkizce District Governorship, was carried out between April 15-19, 2024. This training, implemented within the framework of the Technical Support Program for Increasing Social Welfare, was held in the 'Laleli Technology Class' located in Şehit Hüseyin Akar Middle School. Twenty teachers selected from various schools attended the program, given by Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) academics Lecturer Ceyhan Yılmaz and Lecturer Yavuz Kablan.
The training program lasted 5 days between April 15-19, 2024, and during this time, teachers were taught various technical competencies such as block-based programming, coding with Arduino, sensor systems, 3D printer and 3D glasses usage. The opening of the program was made by the District National Education Director Mr. Hasan Güneş. Director Güneş wished the training to be productive and thanked the participating teachers.
This project, which aims to increase the quality of education and the technological competencies of teachers in İkizce, has played a major role in raising the education standards in the region.
