The Immunology and Allergy Division of the Department of Chest Diseases at our University’s Farabi Hospital has been awarded the title of “EAACI Certified Clinical Centre for Asthma and Severe Asthma” by the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). The certificate and plaque, which certify that patient care in the fields of asthma and severe asthma is provided in accordance with international quality standards and that standardized patient management is implemented, were presented to Dr. Müge Erbay, Allergy and Immunology Specialist and Head of the Unit, during the Opening Ceremony of the EAACI 2026 Congress held in Istanbul.

With this certification, our University’s Farabi Hospital has joined the network of accredited asthma and severe asthma centers in Europe, thereby enhancing its international visibility and opportunities for scientific collaboration. In addition, it has become one of the select centers worldwide to be certified by EAACI in this field.
