Learning outcomes of the program
1. To be able to know the terminology related to the field of psychology based on current sources and to use this knowledge in various areas of service, research and practice.
2. Gains the ability to recognize and observe human behavioral, emotional and cognitive processes.
3. Observes, recognizes, evaluates and intervenes in the process of a psychological phenomenon/case.
4. Using the principles of psychology, they take initiatives to protect and improve the health and well-being of society, not only at the individual level.
5. Recognize the subfields of psychology and gain the ability to conduct research in these areas.
6. Recognize the measurement and evaluation tools for the sub-fields of psychology and gain the ability to apply for develop new tools.
7. To have a good command of various research methods in psychology and to be able to plan, design, conduct and evaluate a research using these methods.
8. Gains the ability to conduct a research in the field of psychology from beginning to end (planning, designing, data collection, data analysis, reporting, publishing).
9. To be able to work interdisciplinary by synthesizing his/her knowledge of the subfields of psychology with other fields.
10. Acting according to the principle of lifelong learning, follows innovative approaches and current technology related to the field, uses English at B1 level, which is used in psychology resources, and knows the importance of graduate education.
11. Is sensitive to the characteristics and differences of psychological phenomena/cases, knows not to have a prejudiced approach, respects universal values and human rights.
12. Acting with a sense of social responsibility, reports, shares and applies their opinions and ideas about the field of psychology in written and unwritten form within the framework of society service.
13. Acts according to professional and ethical principles as required by the title of psychologist.
14. Knows the risks to which he/she may be exposed in profession and becomes an example to the society and colleagues by developing strategies to protect and improve his/her own health against these risks.
