It's possible to collect all the employment opportunities under two main titles:
1) You can become a teacher at public schools, or you can become a member of academic staff at departments of Russian Language. There are examinations of various kinds and if you provide the necessary conditions (passing all of the verbal and non-verbal examinations, scoring high marks in foreign language exams, etc.) you will have a right to become a civil servant.
2) You may also want to work not in a government office, then Russian language will help you to get a job in private sector (foreign trade companies, branches of various international firms); you may work at the front desk of hotels; there may even be positions where you'll be at administrative side of work. Or you can choose to become a freelancer; you can become a tutor and teach people Russian language for money; you can become a certified translator etc.
