Our department, which started its teaching activities in 2015, is based on student-centered education. Along with its experienced and qualified academic staff, which includes Turkish and foreign academics; Our Department continues to teach only in Russian language to take firm steps forward to a great future. The mentality of "Raising men of letters, linguists that are specialists in their own homeground" is what shapes our Department's mission. And the fact that we are a part of Karadeniz Technical University which has a rich and rooted history, and which cooperates with many universities in different countries, moves us forward. And we shouldn't forget the fact that Trabzon's position on the map gives us the advantage of being able to visit cities like Sochi, Batumi and Tbilisi where people talk in Russian language.
As you may already know our faculty building is near to the Black Sea and it creates a very cozy atmosphere, and here in our department we have a friendly atmosphere, yet we still try our best to represent a tremendous concentration of expertise.
