KTU TTC strengthens the university’s intellectual property portfolio and contributes to the protection of domestic technologies by ensuring that researchers’ and students’ inventions are safeguarded at national and international levels.
The identification of assets at our university that may be subject to intellectual property rights and the monitoring of legal protection processes for relevant industrial property rights are provided. As part of consultancy services, confidentiality agreements are arranged to ensure that information is protected against unauthorized use by third parties.
Conducting preliminary research before filing patents, utility models, designs, and similar inventions is essential to verify the novelty and inventive step of the invention. Through this research, information on the patentability/protectability of the invention is obtained, and the “novelty” criterion is evaluated.
The preparation of files for patent, utility model, and design applications, monitoring of submissions, post-registration procedures, and payment processes are carried out, providing researchers with comprehensive administrative and financial support.
