KTU TTC enhances researchers’ interest and demand for utilizing various national and international funding sources and provides support in transforming research ideas into projects. In doing so, it increases the number of national and international projects the university benefits from and strengthens its research infrastructure.
Current project and grant calls under national and international support programs are regularly monitored and shared with researchers. Based on the thematic areas specified in the calls, researcher scans are conducted, and compatible researchers are engaged through desk meetings, email notifications, academic visits, and thematic group meetings.
Within the scope of researchers’ project ideas and needs, suitable regional, national, and international funding sources (TÜBİTAK, TUSEB, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, etc.) are identified, and researchers are guided accordingly.
Written project proposals submitted by researchers are reviewed, and suggestions and comments for necessary improvements and corrections are provided. This process contributes to making applications stronger and more competitive.
Researchers are supported in idea development, project preparation and enhancement, budgeting, partner search and consortium building, as well as submission processes to national, regional, and international funding portals.
To support researchers’ access to international funding sources and their participation in collaboration networks, mentorship is provided for application processes to international programs such as Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, TÜBİTAK, and COST Actions. In addition, project development trainings are organized, and partner search platforms are regularly monitored to encourage participation in international consortia.
Comprehensive administrative support and consultancy are provided to university researchers during the implementation of their national and international projects. This service contributes to ensuring that project management processes progress effectively and smoothly.
