"Project Development and Access to National & International Funding" Training Successfully Held in Samsun

The training program titled “Project Development and Access to National & International Funding”, developed within the framework of the QUEST – Quadruple Helix-Based Enhancement of Stakeholders at Black Sea Territory Project, funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, was successfully held with the hosting of the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Organized in cooperation with our Center and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), the training program attracted significant interest from participants representing various institutions and organizations. Throughout the program, participants received comprehensive information on project development, access to national and international funding opportunities, and application procedures.

The main objective of the QUEST Project is to enable institutions and organizations—particularly stakeholders operating in the blue economy sector—to benefit more effectively from national and international funding programmes, strengthen their institutional capacities, and foster sustainable collaborations. In line with this objective, the training program aimed to enhance participants’ competencies in project writing and project management.

During the training, key topics such as Project Cycle Management, access to funding opportunities, call analysis, project budget preparation, consortium building, and the commercialization of project outputs were covered. Sessions delivered by expert trainers provided participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical examples.

At the end of the program, it was observed that participants had gained valuable knowledge and skills to manage project development processes more effectively and had increased their awareness of establishing national and international collaborations.
