Within the scope of TUBITAK BİDEB 2237-A Program, under the coordination of KTU Technology Transfer Application and Research Center, Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Hayrettin ACAR, “Entrepreneurship Journey for Innovative Minds: From Entrepreneur Definition to Investment Presentation” training event was organized. The event, which was held between October 2-4, 2024, was held with 19 participants.

During the three-day event, participants were informed about entrepreneurship processes and TÜBİTAK 1812 Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program, and were provided with the basic skills they will need in their entrepreneurship journey. Within the scope of the training program; entrepreneurship, value proposition, design thinking, market/marketing strategies, intellectual property rights, business model canvas, access to financial resources and investment strategies were discussed theoretically and practically. Participants prepared presentations for investors by creating a business model canvas based on their business ideas and received mentoring support in this process. Participants presented their business ideas at the “Demoday” event organized at the end of the event. There was also a panel discussion where successful TÜBİTAK 1512 BIGG entrepreneurs shared their experiences.

We would like to thank the participants and trainers who participated in the training, which was completed with the Certificate of Participation given to the participants by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali TEMİZ, and we hope that the event will turn into successful entrepreneurship adventures.
